I am replacing my old original iPad Air with this case. It was lighter and appears to be made of quality material. My iPad 1st Edition fits perfectly in the case. The case opens into a stand that works well and is stable. It has excellent value for money. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who wants a lightweight case to protect their iPad.

This is a good case but I bought it hoping it wouldn't interfere with the iPad's fingerprint recognition like other cases that have I've tried in the past. Unfortunately, this is just as bad as the other cases. For some reason they decided to add a raised bar where the fingerprint reader sits, which makes it almost impossible to put your finger on the reader, which is why the iPad doesn't recognize the fingerprint about 90% of the time. I liked the look of this case - lightweight, fits well and the color is a deep, shimmering turquoise. I wish the back was a bit more grippy - it's smooth, hard plastic, so you have to be careful when you put your iPad down (which isn't a bad idea anyway). And 20 days after I received it, I noticed that the plastic was broken near the power button. I don't think this will cause any problems, but if you're looking for a truly protective case, this may not be the one for you.

After carrying my iPad Air in an old, heavy case for years, I've ordered some new cases. This case had a better overall feel, nice translucent back and more attention to detail than cases costing 25-35% more. Your description is correct! If you want a super thin and light case, buy one of these! I will be getting another one to take advantage of the color change option at this price point. Very satisfied.

I'm not a fan of bulky suitcases so this one was perfect. It snaps into a hard plastic case on the back and has a magnetic closure on the front that allows the iPad to go to sleep when you close the case. The cutouts for the camera, phone, and headphone jack look pretty neat. The downside is that it won't hold up if you put it on a hard surface.
