Not suitable for large slices of bread

The toaster was cheap and bad for me buying a cheap toaster but for anything other than a normal piece of bread I should but it stands upright, toast in half then turn over, to fry the other half.

Pros
  • clear even to old
Cons
  • repair

Not recommended good for kitchen and dining room

I gave 3 stars because it really worked. However, the handle broke 2 days after receiving it. We also have to put our toast on twice to actually get toasted bread. Personally, I'm not a fan and had to order another one.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • High price

This particular item was a particular disappointment. We have previously purchased Proctor Silex toasters in the past. This one is very different from the old ones. Don't hesitate to buy it. Returned immediately. Toast and go to the end. Heed any warnings in the comments.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Fits

Not like my other Proctor Silex

I've had one before but this one was open, the cord wasn't wrapped or the plug was covered and the plastic was torn. I think it was a comeback. The toast only goes 1/2 down so the top doesn't toast and the bread lifter doesn't do anything. I am very disappointed but cannot afford the cost of returning it. Money lost for me.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • pisses me off

Frustrating - small appliances

Advertised with a pull out crumb tray but mine has a flip out bottom so I have to carry the entire toaster to the sink or bin to empty it. Insert a slice of bread and it will sink 3-5/8 inches (see photo). Push the toaster lever/button down to toast the bread and the bread will go down an additional 1/2 inch. Maximum depth is 4-1/8 inches. As a result, my bread sticks out at the top and it does not toast. My English muffins are about 3 inches in diameter so I use the Toast Boost feature after…

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Security

Proctor Silex is no longer a product I trust.

The last Proctor Silex toaster I bought was a good product that has lasted over 10 years. It's a joke Cons: (using my previous toaster as a base) - thinner heating elements and probably less of them - hence longer toasting time - toast is toasted unevenly - toast doesn't get hot so butter or sour cream doesn't melt - flat wall - ok, the bread sticks to the top of the unit - you have to turn the latch knob if you want to manually eject the toast, which will lose your favorite setting - the toast

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • No job
