Proctor Silex Extra Wide Selector 22305 Review

I used this toaster less than 10 times before it broke. I was toasting waffles when I heard a loud popping sound, the heating element stopped and my waffles came out uncooked. Every time I try to lower the lever it doesn't bind and the heater won't start. I am very disappointed in this product.

Owned mine for a month. Tray cleaned regularly. I make about 7 toasts a week. The fact that even an ordinary piece of bread does not fit in this toaster did not impress me from the start. You had to toast them twice (once on each side for regular bread 🙄). I bought a 2 slice toaster in August and have had no problems with it so far. It started smoking and smelling this morning what a waste when I spent the reward points on a toaster. The toaster did not come in a Revain shipping box like all products in the past. The label was stuck onto the toaster box itself. It's like going into a store and buying. I'm not sure if this can cause damage or not. We now have a two month old toaster plus bonus points. Will not buy Proctor Silex product again.

My other toaster burned down during the pandemic. For some reason I couldn't find it in local stores. I had to come to Revane for the rescue. I chose this one because it seemed the easiest to me.
