It's a bit heavy, but this thing has already fallen off a 5ft shelf and is still walking around. I ordered this dryer because of the size. I use a diffuser and most diffuser dryers are difficult to use on the back of my head. Too heavy for me but my husband loves it. He thinks it could be better and last longer than light dryers. The removal filter is stronger than most dryers and many of our other dryers are only attached with a small tab that breaks easily. I bought this to replace my Rusk hair dryer which has given me 7 years of use. I struggled with that. It's definitely heavier than my Rusk. Whenever I switch hands (left to right), I accidentally change one of the settings with my fingers. I needed a low setting with more warmth than this suggests.
