Metal Earth Set: Clipper, Flat Nose Pliers, Needle Nose Pliers - 3 Essential Tools Review

Oh my god when I saw this product called Metal Earth I was very happy. What a disappointment! These tools are rubbish. I LOVE real Metal Earth figures and have made about 10 of them, but these tools don't work at all. in the destruction of small parts for figures. Needle nose pliers are semi-finished products, but not as good as tweezers. I ended up having to go to my home store and buy real tools. DO NOT BUY THESE!

When I ordered this I thought it was a very good deal. When it arrived I realized that even at $15 it was WAY overpriced. These pliers and scissors don't go well together, HORRIBLE accuracy. I used these tools to make my first metal floor kit (model Moby Dick). The incisors could have been sharper. They don't cut very well. However, the tools were very helpful and closed well for me. You don't have to keep squeezing the pliers. I used different sized pencils to bend the pieces. superglue if you break something; ) Tip: By laying out your pieces on a numbered board, you can keep the order of the pieces.

I agree with Tio Star's review of October 24, 2015. These are NOT the quality instruments I expected from MetalEarth. When closed, the jaws of the needle nose pliers have gaps, and the tip of the jaws has a large gap, so the tip won't even hold a tiny part. There are also gaps in the cut edges of flush clippers - when closed, light is visible through these gaps, meaning you will NOT get a clean cut! Compared to others who have bought them, I'm happy with my needle nose pliers. My job is to twist and fully close the tabs, but they don't fit in the small spaces required to complete some of these metal models.
