I have been buying brown sugar with a clay disc for 3 years and it works amazing! So I decided to add white sugar and flour to the collection.

Love the features. The leveling bar for the flour bin is excellent and the seals are good and tight. Sizes are perfect! However, the flour container had a crack at the bottom. When I returned it and ordered from a different seller, the flour container had a crack elsewhere at the bottom.

I was looking for a sealed sugar container and found it with these containers. As for durability, they will break if dropped, but I've used glass before so I'll be careful. The flour bin has leveling on the inside which I like and the sugar bin has a spout which helped a lot.

I think I should read the description better. I thought I would get TWO containers - one for sugar and one for flour! I can't believe I paid that much money for a smelly little container. Now I have to return it so I can get the matching SET flour/sugar. I'm trying to tidy up the kitchen. Very annoying!

Appearance, weight, airtight in any case. My only two downsides are that they're hard to hold and the plastic is such that it shatters if you drop the thing. The combination of this and a bad grip is a risk. I broke my first one but couldn't find one I liked better so I bought another one. If I break it again, I'll just buy cheap ones from Wal-Mart.

See photos. See for yourself. The hinges are particularly fragile. I originally bought a 12 piece combo set, one of the bins had a broken hinge. I received a partial refund which I used to purchase this 2 piece set. Immediately after unpacking, the hinges broke in the same place. The hinge design is flawed and will not last long in service. I do not recommend. There is a better choice.

I bought these about a year ago and they were fantastic! I just checked my order history to buy more. They're expensive for containers, but you definitely get what you pay for. I bake so I always have 2 different types of sugar and 3 different types of flour on hand and this has helped keep my baking chamber clean and organized! I also have a smaller set and love them!
