The installation went very well, the fan is unusually quiet, however the Alvina LED Globe Light Hugger/Low Profile lamp only accepted the small LED supplied and I couldn't use brighter leds which i would prefer.

Looks good and arrived on time. But less than a week later I can't stand the noise anymore. I take it off and replace it with another quieter fan. I'm attaching a video so potential buyers can judge the noise for themselves. Total spent 56 dollars!

Easy to assemble, works great as described and looks good. This is a small single bulb fan, inexpensive but perfectly suited to our needs. I installed this myself and I'm a little girl. This was my first time trying to install a ceiling fan and had no problem installing it myself.

Cons: Doesn't blow nearly as much air as my other 42-inch ceiling fan; suction chains too short; Exhaust chains wrap around the ball and rub against it during operation. [Not used with down bar, i.e. flush with 9ft ceiling.] Advantages: low cost; so far quite quiet (only a few days in use, but not completely "quiet"); attractive design; Easy installation with user-friendly installation design, making it easy to install by one person.

I have ordered 2 of these fans and only one works properly. The process of getting a replacement was so tedious that I ended up stuck with a defective fan. My electrician installed both on the same day and the process of removing the faulty fan and waiting for Amazon to send me a new and working fan was too complicated. Our other fan burned out in our bedroom after 11 years of use. It was a cheap $20 fan from Walmart. I looked at many, many fans and decided to give this one a try. It was packaged well, everything fit and worked perfectly. It's very quiet and circulates air very well, that's all we need. I removed a star for easier installation as we had to cut and strip wires to shorten them for our wiring in our RV. You may not have this problem, or you may just prefer lots of extra wires. Easy to install. Takes about an hour. I bought 3 for 3 different rooms. I like how close they are to the ceiling. We have low ceilings so our old living room fan was knocked over by someone over 6ft 2in. They're a lot bigger, so hopefully nobody hits them on the head. The traction chains are a bit short, but they either have a light icon or a fan icon on them, which is handy. Cools rooms effectively. There is no fan control. When I first saw the 17 inch blades I thought maybe this fan is too small but it looks great and moves the air really well with 5 blades. The oak side of the blades is the most attractive color. The darker color back is not so much. I followed the directions to the T as they were well documented and easy to follow.
