I gave it to my father for his birthday and he really liked it. The basket is great and fairly standard, but what stands out is the e-book that comes with it. The e-book is great! It is very detailed and will help a lot for beginners in making sourdough. Highly recommended!

I have now bought three proofing baskets. A round for artisanal bread, then this one and the last one are a bit shorter. I love all three and the liner in them. The baskets are very smooth and after dusting the insert with flour, the dough does not stick. All three seem to be of very good quality and I felt a very good price.

I'm going on an adventure and that is baking bread. I'm a beginner and haven't figured out all the nuances of the breadmaking world yet, but I've learned that a banneton is one of the most important things. This oval banneton will come in handy for my next cake! Look forward to many crispy loaves of bread with the typical spirals!

Customer service was as good as it could be. Although the size of the oval was well done, it was smaller than I expected and Shire sent me a 10" cartridge to fix it. I was happy with that. Great email communication to fix my sz problem. We can definitely recommend this manufacturer and product.

I've been experimenting with making sourdough bread so I ordered this Banneton. Pictured is my first bread with Banneton and my bread came out perfect! The bread isn't really sourdough as I used yeast instead of sourdough, but it's delicious. It's round because I baked it in a pot using the "Dutch Oven" method. I added lactic acid to get astringency. Today my sourdough is ready, so I'm going to bake real sourdough bread. :) It's good value for money.
