Finally found one

I've been looking for child proof cabinet locks and I've used quite a bit and somehow my toddler manages to get it open. With this, my little one couldn't figure out how to open it, which is very, very effective. Ease of installation.

  • Quick replacement
Cons
  • Really don't like it all is good

Worked great! in Guards & Locks

I used them to lock some drawers that I didn't want my little one to fit in and they worked great. The glue could have been a little stronger, one fell off but I reapplied it and it's still there. They're really easy to apply, just make sure the doors or drawers you're applying them to are flush with each other.

Initially OK

Adhesion on these items is not comparable to that of 3M so use caution if you have painted cabinets. The color can come off. In general, they are very easy to use and apply. Over time, the adhesion simply wears off. They will work for a younger child just learning to crawl and walk on their hands, but as they get older they can take them off! So be careful

Great idea but didn't work for me

Cab locks are a great idea, easy to install but they didn't work for me as they are very easy to understand. Definitely away from toddlers and older kids. Your little one only needs to see you pick the locks once and will aggressively push for them to be unlocked if you place them on the lower cabinets. I think a button somewhere off center will work better. They're not very wide. If the doors or the surface you access from the other side aren't closed, they may not fit or protrude slightly…

Pros
  • Good stuff
