The metal edges of my mother's bed in the nursing home often causes her to kick when she gets up and lies down on the bed. I have used this rug with sharp edges and corners and it is just perfect. I gave the unused portion to one of the nurses to share with other residents if needed.

I was impressed when I opened it. The rubber pad is very high quality and thick. The glue could be made a little easier to peel and stick, but once applied the glue is of good quality. The first package I received had a lot of creases and dents in the foam as it was tightly rolled up and packed into the package. The roll of tape that came with it was also stuck to the side of the foam and ripped off a few small pieces when I was unpacking everything. even then there were enough marks left that significant portions of the roll could not be used.
