I ordered a similar product from Revain but thought they were all the same regardless of brand. But they were noticeably softer, easier to compress, and slightly thinner. This provides less cushioning on impact. There is also no glue on the back, you need to stick the tape by yourself. I have attached photos of the previous brand I used. The top one is the first brand and you can see the back sticker on it as well. It's twice as wide as what's included in this new roll.

I bought this to cover the 2x4 pieces of wood in a playground I was building. It's soft and the perfect size for edge protection, but the adhesive is very weak. It started coming off the day after I applied it and I have to reapply the product every day by pressing it down. Very uncomfortable. The foam itself was easy to cut, use, and soft, but the adhesive was weak. This product is expensive considering it costs almost $20 and I would have to buy something else to use the product properly.

I got this pillow to put on the undersides of wall corners/mounting corners to soften the impact when my dog inevitably comes in head first (my dog) . is blind).
