I purchased this multimeter from www.protechtrader.com as they had the best price after seeing video reviews rating it to be the best affordable digital multimeter under $10 and it is perfect for my home use. Easy to read large screen and when I had a question about it the guy on the phone at protechtrader was helpful

I have several multimeters. I only had one that could test transistors and another that used clay to test continuity. My solid state multimeter failed so I went with this one and was surprised that it had a continuity test sound that only my most expensive multimeter has. I needed it mainly for testing transistors and it worked. Having tone is a bonus I wasn't expecting, meaning I can use it more often as it's 1/3 the size of my other multimeter with tone.

Will make a great $9 helper for any toolbox or truck. No excuses. The display is very large and easy to read and has all the standard functions and more. I haven't used a square wave generator and it's nice to have one that will probably never be used, so yeah I really don't care if it's not a perfect 5vpp square wave. This sub-$10 multimeter exceeded my expectations. This multimeter is accurate enough for the average homeowner/auto mechanic through shady trees. My advice is to test this multimeter when it arrives.
