I am on the fence on this review, I finally went with 4 instead of 3 stars because the pen solution is so clever. Do note this is a minimalist case, as in it provides zero drop protection and really is just to keep it from getting scratched and give you a way to prop it up in landscape mode.My biggest beef is how the weak the magnets to hold it in place are. If you open it on the wrong side, the whole cover comes completely off. I've done that a few times thankfully it was in my lap both times.

This is a case that has some trade-offs.It is incredibly lightweight. It is ridiculously easy to take off and put on your iPad (so if you like to switch things up or have a keyboard case you like to use, this is a nice thing to have!). The material feels fantastic. A really good case as it goes away from the conventional clipping on of cases like how it usually is. Would have gotten 5 stars if not for the cumbersome additional piece for the Apple Pencil. Would have been better if it was a permanent fixture on the main case.
