Ordered this because the cat likes to climb up to the top of the recliner to look out the window and his claws were beginning to prick holes in the leather. We ordered this to protect the arms as well as the seat and any place the cat could damage and it does a good job. Now the dog, a Silky Terrier, has discovered the softness of the cover and has made this chair his favorite sleeping spot when no one is in the chair.

What I liked is that the product sold was true to the dimensions of the recliner. It’s very soft, no problem installing and easy to clean.

Saw some concerns in reviews before I bought. The number or even presence of belts were primary. Well, I ordered 2 covers, both had 2 belts, but both had loops for only one belt at the seat, but not at the top where belt is shown in photo. So disappointed! Did everything they said. Measured perfectly. Tried it on the sofa. Measurements were perfect. It looked and felt great. Took it off the couch, washed it in cool water with no laundry soap; let it air dry then put it on the sofa and it was 6" too short. So totally upset that it shrunk. Looks horrible now.

Washed once, no problem. Washed again, 6 months after purchase and the backing began to disintegrate and the chocolate brown velour was covered with millions of white little bits, like dandruff, that will not shake out, brush out and are nearly impossible to vacuum out.

Just received today, so review is base on my 1st thought of this product. It was a little big but I knew it would be since they don’t carry my exact size, but it works. Very soft and I love the back strap; I literally was using a bed sheet to cover the sofa and it was always slipping off when someone sat on it, so the strap is a plus. I seen other reviews which I would consider when caring for the product and see if it holds up and worth the money.

Thick Velvet Quilted Recline Covers Slipover did not disappoint. Quality and nice. I haven't washed it yet but I'll send over another review when I do. Overall, very impressed with my purchase and love the quality of material. I just had Open Heart Surgery and this fit my costco recliner pretty well.

I got a rash when I first put this on. I recommend, as they also do, to wash it first. I had to wash mine twice with a good presoak on the second load. Its nice and thick and doesn't slide easily. Can not hook elastic straps if you have a swivel recliner but it still works without hooking them on. I wish they had pockets on both sides. I also wish the head/back top part had "wings" to cover all of the top part so my cat claws won't dig in. ( I know that's a ME issue).
