I hesitated to wear it. Thought it would be hot in the sun. However, it cooled my skin and was easy to wear. Not at all what I expected. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to stand in the scorching sun. He worked as a charmer.

This shirt does not dry quickly. It's quite warm for a fishing/boating shirt. Better for walking or cycling. Fits snug but not tight

Yes, the hood is very large, but this also allowed me to wear a hat/cap underneath for excellent sun protection. I also liked the loops that held the sleeves on the wrists.

I live in South Florida and was looking for a way to reduce my addiction to sunscreen. This shirt appears to be true to size, feels comfortable in the hot sun and washes well. I will buy more of these

I don't like putting sunscreen on my hands, neck and face. I tried the sweatshirt and it worked great. At first I thought it would be too heavy and hot, but during a 2 hour beach bike ride in the sun the upper was comfortable, cool and offered 100% sun protection. I slipped a baseball cap over the hood and she held it in place so the cool breeze could enter the hood and cool me.

I bought size XXL and it fits like a man's size. I'm a girl and I usually buy men's tops by length. I'm also not sure if it's UV. The fabric resembles polyester lining. But I made some changes. I ripped out the side seams and added a pink sport mesh gusset, cropped the hood slightly longer to cover the face on the sides and added cuffs with thumbholes on the sleeves. I wear a long-sleeved UPF t-shirt underneath. Now everything is perfect.
