Can it be safe? - Power adapters and surge protectors

I finally decided to just use it to scare myself to death. (see photo). I expected the circuit breaker to work, but it doesn't. It can't be safe! He even roasted a fork!

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Not as good as it says

Good for detaching cables from the floor

Allowed me to detach cables from the floor. The only thing I would have liked was if the plugs were a bit wider. Some of my ports aren't big, but they're not small either, so I can't use all ports.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Something different

Works best in power strips and surge protectors

Much smaller than I expected which is great. The USB ports are pleasant to the touch. Unplugging the power cords seems a little flimsy as I can lift the entire unit off the wall. I would recommend placing it in a location where you rarely plug and unplug devices. 6 plugs is good, really only 4 devices can be plugged in at once unless we are talking about very small plugs. The LED light is also very dim on the white model and not visible at all during the day. Otherwise a good product!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • is awkward

Sparks flew - and now my socket doesn't work!

I hooked this up to my bathroom and plugged in 4 appliances in the corners. Hair dryer, hair straightener, lighted mirror and small fan. None of the items were included. I just plugged them in. When I plugged in the 4th element it sparked, burned and it blew up our GFI socket or something. Now none of the outlets in my bathroom work and I have to pay to fix it. What a mess and now I have no time, money or energy because of this product. Buyer Warning. Luckily the sparks weren't worse!

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • makes me angry
