Tastes like a regular candy bar

I didn't expect them to taste like plain chocolate/chocolate bars. By that I mean they don't have that savory cliff bar flavor. They're not very filling, but will satisfy hunger for about an hour. Although they taste like a candy bar, they're not as good as one. I usually try to stay away from sugar and I found them very sweet (although they are relatively low in sugar). You will completely satisfy the craving for cake!

If you have celiac disease who loves cake but. 1. Doesn't like to bake (gluten-free). 2. I hate waiting for things to thaw. And/or 3. Know that cake is bad for your waistline. For me the taste was complex but not greasy

The problem with many chocolate covered protein bars is that they bloom prematurely. In case you don't know, when the chocolate blooms, you get a whitish tint on the surface that also seems to take away the flavor. Typically, this is because the chocolate has been exposed to a heat source during transit, which has caused the fat to settle.
