Calibrated to +/- 4% clockwise direction and +/- 6% counter clockwise at 20% to 100% of full scale. Calibration is accomplished by manual loading the torque wrenches. Manufactured to meet standard industrial torque applications, general industry, heavy equipment and maintenance. Made in USA.

Faulty Tool, Useless for Automotive

This micrometer failed after one use. It gave inaccurate readings and made the diagnostic process difficult.. That's my feedback!

Calibrated and to spec

After buying a cheap Lexivon torque wrench which I returned I settled on this proto. Granted, the Proto is four times more expensive, but considering it meets the manufacturer's specs (I tested it) compared to the Lexivon, which was 8 pounds more at 30 ft. lbs and 10 ft. lbs. 20 not even clicked pounds load. It's worth it just for the mind. This is definitely the case when you get what you pay for. Just so you know, the wrench comes in a newer gray case with opening bars. When asked about this…
