Great filter, good for oil filter

The original price of this listing was $4.69 and has increased to $11. Filter cartridge with copper break ring and sealing ring.

Good quality filter

Decent quality filter. I also use K&N air filters in my car. The results on the automotive forums I've visited have been mixed. I don't know if there might be a BETTER filter, but it's definitely not a BAD filter. I just found out that there is a reusable blank oil filter for my BMW E46 so I think I'll give it a try one day. .

These filters work perfectly. Make sure you use them carefully.

I have used these and Mann filters on my BMW e46. I buy 2 or 3 at a time and it's always cheaper. I change the oil/filter every 5-7k. These filters work fine. Make sure you insert them carefully, they are a little tighter than Mann filters. I attach them to the filter cap and then slowly unscrew them! But when swapping, they never twisted, as some say.

Worth a few bucks more when you consider the REAL cost of cheap oil filters

I only use K&N filters with Mobil 1 oil and beat my cars like redhead foster kids. Never had any problems with the engine. So many engine problems can be traced back to bad oil, bad oil pressure, missed oil changes and bad filters. K&N helps solve these problems. Cheap oil filters are cheap for a reason. Better spend a few bucks more on K&N.

Avoid use in BMW e46 and Mobil 1 0w-40

I have previously used Mann filters with no problems but 2 oil changes ago I decided to switch to this K&N filter because I have bought other items from Revain and thought I could fit a K&N filter as well. I didn't notice any problems until I removed the filter for an oil change - the filter fell apart completely in the middle and warped at the ends. My guess is that due to head warping, oil leaked through the filter - the flow is really big, but not very useful as a filter and terrible for the
