Barrel prevents baby from tipping his head back. The baby's chin rests on the neck during the bath, which is very uncomfortable and dangerous. And nothing prevents them from slipping into the water. Not a big fan of this tub.

I think large carrycots are a waste of space and when I saw this I thought it might be worth a try. Thanks to this, the washbasin is light and does not take up much storage space. It's easy to clean. I used rolled up towels for the first 3-4 weeks I bathed my son in for stability/positioning so he doesn't slip around like noodles :)

I came across this bath sponge while looking for a bath sponge and bought it and have no regrets. Bathing is easy and fun, cleanup is a breeze, and the fact that it's portable is a plus. If you are new parents, this is a must! If you've had kids before and used the bath before, make it worth it!

This worked great with the double sink but our newborn definitely had trouble staying stable and it was easier to sit straight in the tub and pour some water in. She was 6.5 pounds at birth and we used her until she was a month old, also with the other method mentioned above. She kind of slipped during the puja and looked like she was in a very uncomfortable position.

Just bought this for my 7th baby and I honestly think it's the best newborn bath I've found! For my first, I used a foam insert. It soaked up so much water that it was impossible to dry it out and eventually took on a less than pleasant smell.
