I have absolutely no doubt that Pureology is a great brand with great products. However, this Pure Volume line is NOT suitable. The scent is ok - a bit strong, a bit fresh, a bit floral. My claim to the formula. I have thin, fine, straight but soft hair. I also have sensitive skin and scalp. This shampoo dried incredibly to the point where my hair looked like tangled straw. It also left my scalp very dry and itchy and I had to leave my hair unwashed to give it extra drying hoping my natural…

I tried it after trying the turquoise bottle and it's terrible. The shampoo completely dried out my hair and made it look like straw. The conditioner helped a bit, but the texture of the straw was a bit of a let down. Mainly because it's so expensive and how good other shampoos and conditioners are. I definitely recommend trying something other than this "bulky" one!

Finally found the right shampoo for my hair! I've been using Pureology shampoo and conditioner for over 15 years... I missed an order to get the "conditioner" (completely my fault) when searching for the product again I came across the "pink" bottle... I did Ordered the "purple" > used for thick hair and WOW! What a difference when I add volume to my hair! LOVE the scent! I will keep ordering!

My hair felt terrible. I have previously purchased Pureology Hydrate which I really enjoyed but purchasing this tape was just a horrible experience. It made my hair sticky, difficult to comb and locked in all the dirt that got into my hair. Oh I had volume but the bird's nest my hair had become wasn't flattering. I had to buy a clarifying shampoo and switch brands to fix the damage it was doing to my hair.
