Proof is in the picture. I just moved into a new apartment and realized how incredibly dusty my room was. I bought this air purifier and it has been working non-stop since I've had it, which is about a week now. You can see how much the pre-filter caught. The internal filter has definitely changed color since I first installed it. The air quality has definitely improved and there is noticeably less dust on my furniture. Very happy with this unit for about 130 square feet bedroom.

Very quiet. Beautiful, compact, round, high shape. Sits equally well on the floor, table or desk. The filters are easy to change and very cheap for their performance. The touch switch is too insensitive - it takes a couple of touches in the right place to turn it on. HEPA filters emit a strange milky-sweet smell. I chose the 411+ because consumer reviews gave the larger Blueair 211+ an excellent rating and this 211+ was a great choice for my living room. So I got 411+ for the bedroom. Together they protect my cottage from pollen, dust etc. while outdoor allergies are a real problem. The 411+ is so quiet with a weak fan that you have to put your hands on it to make sure it works. Great product when it works. We bought four (two 411+ and two 121) and three of them work perfectly. One just stopped working. It happens. Why the low rating? product support. They list their phone lines as open 8 hours a day. Reality about 4 hours. It doesn't matter - they still don't answer. They don't answer calls. There is a chat, but there is also nobody there. 12/01/20 I have to say these devices were AMAZING, still in effect! I would really like another one. The dust in my house is definitely reduced to a minimum and my house always smells fresh. 02/01/2019 Updated. I've been using the filter for over a year now and I'm generally happy with the results. My only complaint is that the filters sometimes contain a very strong chemical. or a factory smell, I'm not sure if it's due to a change of supplier but if I order the filters again I'll return them if they have the same smell.
