🐱 Purina Friskies Extra Gravy Chunky Wet Cat Food - Chicken in Savory Gravy (24) 5.5 oz. Cans Review

We have a 16 year old kitten who LOVES wet food but only licks gravy. I've bought every brand imaginable and this is the best giveaway as it's full of delicious sauce and only bits of meat he doesn't want to eat. Buying such a case with subscription and savings is cheaper/easier than buying individual lenses in a store. They also sell a variety of packs for a few bucks more if you want to try a few flavors and make sure your kitty likes them before buying the whole box.

This food is not bad but honestly it has too much sauce and not enough meat. Yes, I know it's supposed to be "extra sauce", but still. I only bought it because it was on sale and I usually buy friskies so I figured it would be ok. I always give them half a can of wet food on top of the dry food, but since I've been giving them that, they leave some of the food in their bowls every day. We have been in contact with this company since 2018 because not all the goods sold on time are of the same quality. That means some sell well by date, and some don't have an unpleasant odor or weird color, for example. My cat has a very good sense of smell and can identify bad food. I bought 2 boxes of this cat food and noticed a putrid smell when opening one of the boxes. I noticed that most of the cans in the case were dented and I found at least two cans that were damaged/partially opened! The rotting food in the jars spread over most of the other jars causing them to stick together and the smell was unbearable! I immediately disposed of most of the boxes for fear of botulism!
