Elde will eat this. Although she gets lots of treats I have never given her dry or gravy bits as my cats have always eaten gravy. Using a fork, I mash the pie while adding 2 tablespoons of water. It basically turns into a thick gravy and is good for the kidneys.

I have two very old cars. Mr. Ed and Sussie don't have the teeth they used either. Purina Pie is perfect for her. You can eat with ease. They seem to love it and they know when I open a can! I like the fact that it keeps them healthy. Both have beautiful fur! Sassy and Mr. Ed give Purina Pie a 10 for taste and smell! I've given ten for convenience and usefulness.

This is not a recipe found in the variety of packaging Friskies sells. I assumed so, and my cats are a little disappointed in me. There are pieces of grain or rice in it and the cats are completely unimpressed. They'll eat most of it, but not with the enthusiasm they show for a variety of packaged foods.
