Code installed, working, put it out and a week later I needed a key but it wouldn't open, I had to cut it open with bolt cutters. Very disappointing for waste of money.

I don't like how bulky it is but it does the job! My apartment key uses a fob instead of a real key, and each additional key costs $70 to purchase. A dog walker comes to me during the day so I just leave him with the code on the door hanger and voila!

Unrated! Terrible product. Works for 1 or 2 uses then blocks forever. I had to cut off 3 of the 4 objects they were hanging on and smash them to get the key. Super uncomfortable.

It only worked a few weeks before the key we use to access our tennis courts got locked out. I had to use bolt cutters to get it off the fence and then gently crush the metal of the pot to break it to get our key back. For the short time we had the installation there was no rain or other weather.

After checking the code I set several times, I felt safe enough to lock myself on the front steps of the house. When I went for the key, the code stopped working! I needed someone to professionally pick the lock and I still can't get my key out. Not sure if it's just cheap? No response from seller.

I ordered this door key holder so my alarm company can give the emergency services the code. Little did I know that if I hadn't had this item I would have fallen 2 days after installation, I was lying on the floor unaided and unable to get up on my own and the firefighters would have broken inside. But having the key outside saved my door.

Use this at my elderly mother's house. She called early in the morning and I had to try to enter through the safe. It was dark and I had to use my phone's flash. I couldn't see the numbers clearly. I'm in my 60's and my eyesight is not very good but there is no contrast with the small numbers on the silver metal lens. I would look for a box with big numbers and contrast if buying again.
