These scissors are fantastic! And I know my scissors, I've been a hairdresser since 1977. ** The edge is still very sharp, have been using it for about 8 months. **Very well balanced, easy to hold for hours of use. ** Extremely smooth cut. ** Easily adjust the tension if necessary. ** As if that wasn't enough, they are really beautiful. Suitable for practice, suitable for scissors

Item arrived quickly and as described. This is by no means professional quality. There's some tension, no matter the setting, that just doesn't slip like quality scissors. They were pretty sharp and way better than the standard Walmart pair. I've used them on mannequin heads to lengthen my good ones and I think they would be fine in a pinch or for home use, but as far as regular salon use goes they just don't hold up. I've also found out now that I'm not that big of a fan of the blunt tip.
