    Great fun for experienced metalworkers

This is a great model with lots of detail. This will keep you busy for several days. The instructions are better than the typical metal floor instructions. This requires the right tools (metal grinding tool kits work well) and a working knowledge of how to bend and join metal parts. Great model, but not for beginners.

    Disappointing from the start

Do not buy this unless you have the tools to strip these very thin malleable parts from the matching sheets. Half of them fell apart when or after I tried to carefully remove them. There were a few cuts along the way but what else should you expect when dealing with small pieces of metal. Absolutely nothing for casuals or beginners.

Extremely tight fit on some parts and the tabs don't fit in the slots.

This kit is not finished yet. Tab/slot matching is far away. I had to trim each tab to fit, otherwise trying to connect them severely deformed the sheet metal. I had to cut a few pieces to fit the docking nodes. I'm not rejecting it because it's a bit of a challenge. I will say that this is the first kit that has encountered this problem.

    That's incredible. Best in Puzzles

I've built quite a few metal models and this model is by far one of the most difficult. and details on all. That's incredible. This definitely rates the difficulty as 8 out of 10. Should you have a limited time limit with this type of ship? Maybe launch something like the Metal Earth Space Shuttle. or something like that. and no Temple of Athena is a model for beginners. However. I love it. all about it. from flowers to very intricate details. Possibly one of the most detailed models I've ever…

    Not for the casual hobbyist

I've been collecting metal models for over a year now. Microworld models are impressive when complete but can be a real challenge. This particular model has one of the very first instruction sets I have come across. Part numbers are hard to find, the order of instructions is not always correct or optimal, and the color coding of some parts is just plain wrong. Some of the tabs are very tight and difficult to put back on. Maybe the slots are cut for unpainted parts? The completion of this model…

    Don't waste your money

As you have seen in other reviews this particular model is poorly constructed which in turn makes it very difficult to assemble. I have built over 50 Metal Earth models so I know how they are supposed to work and this one is a fake. First, the instructions are TERRIBLE. They don't show exact examples of the pieces, so you'll have to study the pieces for a while to see how they actually work. The folds in the diagram are shown in 2-D, so it's hard to tell how to fold some things until you look…

    • Absolutely amazing!
    Cons
    • Everything is fine
