Perfect for the price

I just broke my original car subwoofer and replaced it with this one. I wasn't looking for anything out of the ordinary. It's better than I expected

Pros
  • 8 ohm impedance
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Impressed sound

These speakers were purchased to replace rotten speakers in my Infinity Sterling boxes. Fits right in the box and sounds really good. I am very impressed with the sound quality for the price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap speaker replacement.

Pros
  • Cloth edged hanger
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Impressive best car audio system

Surprised to get such performance at this price. Now it doesn't shake the floor anymore but it replaced the stock unit in my 2009 Audi A5, once installed and connected the bass sounds good! It has the ideal impedance to match the factory system. That's how I know it's loaded correctly. I'm not 18 anymore and I want to shake the mirrors of the cars around me, so I'm happy.

Pros
  • Installation depth: 3.25 inch
Cons
  • Upgradeable

OK for the price, no subwoofer.

Used as a temporary replacement for the woofers in a pair of Realistic MC-1400 two-way speakers. They are good for low to medium sound levels, but when they are too high they start to distort quite a bit. If you're looking for booming bass, this isn't for you. It's just a woofer, not a subwoofer, so don't expect a lot of bass from it. Great for the price and seems to be doing well in its new cupboards. (mine are filled with cotton)

Pros
  • 100W RMS/200W Peak
Cons
  • Damaged

Decent Replacement Woofer/Midrange

Ok, first of all the product description is a bit wrong. When people think of subwoofers they think of low frequency bass (usually in the 30-120Hz range) and these speakers can handle slightly lower frequencies, but I wouldn't use them as "subwoofers". If you're looking for a true subwoofer, I'd spend the extra $20 and buy an entry-level Kicker or Infinity reference subwoofer. So where do these speakers come in if they perform decently? Well, with 8 ohms, you usually notice right away that…

Pros
  • 25 oz. Magnet
Cons
  • Very expensive
