🥣 Pyrex Smart Essentials 2.5 Quart Mixing Bowl Review

This is a great bowl. It's the perfect size for a salad for up to 4 people! Plus, I can just put the lid on—no plastic wrap—and take it with me. It can be used on a variety of vegetables and other foods such as puddings. It can also be used to mix batter for cakes or whatever. This is my bowl game. I'm still considering getting a second bowl!

I had my last medium Pyrex bowl when I decided to buy 3 of these 2.5 liter lidded bowls. I love cereal and eggs for breakfast and almost every day mix up two packs with a cup of water and a microwave while I fry up some eggs and mix them in a bowl of cereal with oil and pepper. I eat them right out of the bowl, then wash the bowl in the dishwasher and put a plastic lid on the top shelf of the same. This item was good for what it is, no surprises. This is a glass bowl with a plastic lid, I have others like this but I needed this size. However, the glass does have starburst damage in a few places, similar to a rock hitting a windshield. It came like this and when I tried to return it it said no returns accepted. So now I'm stuck with a $20 bowl about to burst? Very annoying. I do not recommend this seller.

Used for Christmas. I needed a bowl that could be easily transported with a lid and this helped. Kept green beans warm from my house to my parents' house 10 minutes away. Easy to clean - just pop it in the dishwasher and you're done. I also like that you can buy the lids separately. I've had a 2.5 liter Pyrex glass bowl in my cupboard for years and didn't even know there was a matching lid for it. I will be taking this to Revain to have both bowls with a lid as this makes it easier to transport

Received the pyrex bowl and lid yesterday but the lid does not fit the bowl. Of course, who knows if the bowl is too big or the lid is too small, but it was a waste of $20. To add insult to injury, I overlooked the fact that this item is non-refundable. What do you do? Well, you'll have to sit down and spend about an hour with Revane to explain it.
