It is extremely durable and can withstand years of regular use. Always keep it as dehydrated and dry as possible and it can literally last forever.

Bought to replace my original Python hose which has worn out with normal use. Just replaced everything and my whole system was like new again. Works great as a replacement or just as an extension. I personally think this one is made out of thinner material and is a little easier to roll up for storage. Overall a great purchase.

Great extension, almost plug and play. I was back at the water change in less than 5 minutes. I first bought a 25 foot python and it was great. Then the coronavirus hit and my 2 tank room turned into a 6 tank fish room so I wouldn't get bored at home. It took a bit more hose to get to the tank which was unreachable for the 25ft Python hose. That fixed me!

Now I can run it from the kitchen or upstairs shower. Got a Home Depot shower head, remove the shower head and that's it. Please save yourself the stress and headache of tank cleaning. I've been trying to make a replacement hose for my Python vacuum but it's not the same. These hoses are more flexible and work better than anything I've found at a big store. I had to replace my entire hose as it was badly clogged and had a few kinks that I was unable to fix and re-hose. These hoses are great, flexible and of course a perfect match for the rest of the Python parts I have.

Weekly water changes in small aquariums are not a big deal. A bucket or two and that's usually all. Large tanks are a whole different matter. I have 125 gallons and I quickly realized how difficult water changes are. Even 20% is about 25 gallons, which for a 2 gallon bucket is more than 10 trips just to drain and then 10 more trips to refill. It took almost an hour, plus a mess.
