Siphon works but wish it was self-priming, hose is too short for my 45 gallon cube and 75 gallons, it should be at least 12 inches longer but he is made of plastic quality pipe.

Mine arrived about 3 days late but when I received it it worked like magic! Easily sucks up dirt or debris from fish along with algae. I had no problem figuring out how to use it and the speed is actually not that slow when you do a partial water tank swap. I would recommend it to anyone who has an aquarium.
