If you're just typing text this might work for you, but if you plan on printing photos at all I strongly recommend not to use these and others skip -original cartridges. I've tried others and these and the colors are just awful and you're just wasting your time and money. When photo quality is important to you, you need Original HP inks.

I have used other manufacturers cartridges in this printer before and was surprised that I could not print in color with those cartridges. I will pack them up and send them back.

I have tried everything to avoid exorbitant prices for printer ink (HP Officejet 8100). I even bought a refill kit and went through this whole mess to refill the cartridges but the HP printer caught it every time. I'm used to the idea of a black and white printer. I made one last try and bought this set of cheap printer cartridges, put them in and voila! It worked! My printer logs ink levels, no error messages, no crashes, just beautiful color printing. I'm so happy!

This product works well with HP 8620 printer. There are no installation and operation problems. Received an HP message saying "Not a genuine HP cartridge", confirmed and started printing. There is no difference in print quality. Great product and 1/4 the price!
