500-Pack Q Tips Cotton Swabs - Essential Tools & Accessories Review

Very pleased with the purchase of a twin pack of cotton swabs. I used to buy cheaper ones and hated them. Since then I always buy the brand. Very good price for a double pack!

I was afraid to buy these as some of the items on Amazon are definitely not the same quality as what you will find in local stores. I've already tried 2 boxes and they seem to be the same quality as before. Although the price varies greatly on any given day.

So Q-Tips is a trusted brand but the packaging or the price needs some updating. The quality of the bud tips can also be improved.

Ok, sue me. I confess I use them to clean my ears. I tried cleaning my ears with my elbows but it just didn't work. I've even tried my wife's elbows. She didn't want to help but realized it wasn't the stupidest thing I'd ever asked her to do. She tried, but in the end we both came to the conclusion that while nobody should put anything smaller than an elbow in their ear, cotton swabs just work. Judge me if you want, but I'm not sorry. And it was an exceptionally good price.

These are cotton buds. Not much can be said about them other than that there really is a difference when it comes to the amount of cotton on the tampon as well as how well it stays on the tampon. The Q-Tip brand has a good amount of cotton - you won't scratch your ear with a magic wand. I also didn't have a cotton crack in my ear like with one of the cheap brands. It's one of those little things that makes paying for a brand name worthwhile.

I've been buying these cotton swabs for over 30 years and now I keep getting a lot of bad tips in the box that are missing the cotton at one end. Their production and quality control have decreased significantly; very disappointed and shocked.
