Installed on a Bintelli beast, only keep CDI connector and cable as a replacement, worked for a good two weeks, now it only turns off with the engine switch, switched to Factory on One Shutdown ignition off worked perfectly. Save money, get another one. The performance gain was not noticeable.

Should have been for the GY6 ignition but the CDI didn't work at all, plugged it in and the main fuse blew. I contacted the seller about this and received no response from him. Contacted Revain and they couldn't even get a reply. Very dissatisfied with everything!

Quick and easy. CDI was cheap. I connected it immediately and worked for about a month and a half (I didn't expect more). The spark plug is useless, go and order ngk. The coil outperformed the CDI in reliability, but the plastic end (which holds the spark plug) didn't last long. It started to break and became very brittle. Fixed with msd universal spark plug connector.

The orange coil and CDI are much better than the standard black ones. You have to drop your idle RPM due to the orange CDI timing advance and you get a little boost on start and with range the ceiling is just a little higher but then my 150cc engine is already hitting 60mph. The fork is only medium, I wish they sold the CDI/Coil with an NGK fork. All in all a great buy for the money.

At $10 this kit is worth the money but the CDI and coil are not "high performance" as advertised. If you really want high performance CDI and reels go to gopowersports or the buggy shop. The CDI is made of hard, smooth plastic. The spool is made of the same material as my standard spool. The candle does what it is supposed to. I also wouldn't recommend using them as a long-term replacement. Use these items as temporary backups. Overall, I would only recommend these items for temporary use. They

After changing the CDI on a 2018 Taotao Thunder 50cc scooter I noticed a noticeable increase in idle speed which required tightening the idle screw to fix. I'm just guessing that the higher RPMs were a good thing. I didn't notice any increase in top speed, but we were already getting to 38-40mph after swapping out the carburetor for a more efficient carburetor with larger jets.
