The copter is equipped with new engines, new propellers and an updated body design, the streamlining of which has increased by 19 percent. Other technical parameters have also improved: for example, the speed at the maximum was 72 km / h, the piloting time increased to 31 minutes. At the same time, the noise level from the engines has been reduced to a large extent.
Pros
- Compactness, thoughtful software, many different drone control modes that allow you to shoot gorgeous videos without the participation of the pilot, long flight time, reliability, quiet sound from the propellers. There are a lot of advantages, I can’t remember everything.
Cons
- Specifically, the Mavic 2 Zoom does not like the quality of 4K video. No matter what I do, there are always some noises. Not the best camera.

- 1. The solution with a remote control, which requires a smartphone to be inserted there, is implemented, apparently by designers. They, these designers, are poorly familiar with the technical features of certain solutions. To charge the remote control, you constantly need to remove the remote control wire from the remote control to the smartphone. And if you want to charge your smartphone, then you need to remove the second part of the wire from it, after removing the smartphone from the remote control. And it's not easy to get in there. At the same time, there is no connector on the power supply unit into which the wire from the smartphone could be inserted. Although such a solution could be envisaged. 2. I did not find a list of compatible phones. At all. 3. I did not find information on the procedure for turning on (off) the remote control in the instructions for the model. There is no information on the website either. I accidentally guessed how it's done. You must first briefly press the power button, and then (after a second) press it again and hold for a couple of seconds. 4. To activate the drone (at least for the first time) you need a reliable internet connection. It won't fly without it. I did not find such a requirement in the instructions. 5. Attempts to find spare parts (such as to replace a broken leg) have not yet been successful.
Pros
- Very smart technique (will warn about the wind, fly around obstacles). Provides opportunities that were previously only dreamed of. It flies without problems for 3 km with video broadcast.
Cons
- There is no tripod mode with sensors off. Breaks easily. Expensive and time consuming repairs. It is poorly ated from the phone (often an error, ate via PC). The remote control is not waterproof. Samsung c9 does not fit into the remote control in glass and silicone in thickness.

- Often you have to calibrate the compass, not a very successful connection between the remote control and your smartphone: there is a fear that the cable or connectors will quickly wear out. In P mode, when flying at any altitude in free space, even in dry weather, it often stumbles upon an invisible obstacle. On the newly purchased copter, the gimball stabilized with a roll (filled up the horizon) of several degrees, adjusted it using the standard drone control software. There are not enough camera exposure control modes, there are only fully manual and auto. The rate of descent is low, unlike the declared 3 m/s even in S mode, it takes a very long time to descend from a height. At least at a height of more than 100 m they would bring it to 5 m / s
Pros
- Compact, lightweight, technologically advanced. Top for not small money.
Cons
- Price, but it can be solved if you need a top-end copter.
