This easel looks and feels very solid and worked great for the first 10 or 15 times.

This easel looks and feels very solid and has worked great the first 10 or 15 times I've used it. Then one of the legs was pulled out completely so it was in two pieces. After that he stopped moving and rendered the easel useless. My husband took it apart and said the part that attached to the leg holding it was attached very poorly and he wondered why it didn't come apart sooner! he hopes to fix this by gluing the piece together, which he believed would make it much stronger. but moreโ€ฆ

In principle a good buy at a low price, but next time only choose expensive brands. To adjust, simply detach the retainers and slide along the numbered slots or extend the legs up to 66 inches.

Came in a quantity of 3 pieces, it's ok, everything seems to "snap", but the box was definitely hit hard or fell/fell hard. If it had been anything else it would have broken for sure. ZERO directions btw, and the semi-circular long black piece they have as a base for the canvas doesn't fit, but it does fit all the way up. It's just crappy design work - the sliding tip on top is also a bad design. I bought it because it will hold 45 pounds but as it's pretty brittle stuff I'm wondering now, does

You get what you pay for

Three stars are enough. Good. At first glance, these easels look good, not just good. They are light, I hope the claim that they can hold 25# weight is true (which is why I chose this easel over others). The 2 rails that carry the weight are 2.5 inches long so your frame could be around 2.25 inches wide. the looks of things, I doubt it. They're light, which is very nice. The bad news is that the clamping mechanism, that holds the height of the three telescopic legs is cheap. I couldn't tell ifโ€ฆ
