Description of QUICK CHANGE BORING HOLDER 250 104

Our part # ALL-47104. Grips bar with extreme rigidity; cuts smoothly without chatter. For use with AXA tool post 250-100 or 250-111. up to 12" swing. Equipped with a split bushing to accommodate a boring bar of smaller diameter. Holds 5/8" tool with bushing, 3/4" diameter without bushing.

Waste of Money, Poor Quality

My analysis of this tool holder showed that it's flimsy and poorly made. It doesn't hold the boring bar securely, causing it to move while in use. The only benefit to this product is its ability to change boring bars quickly but that becomes irrelevant when the holder can't do its job properly. .

Too small - does not fit Aloris tool holder.

Too small - won't fit on the Aloris tool tray on my husband's lathe. The width of the dovetail is too narrow by about .100 inch. What is the best product to order?
