This is amazing for quick removal. It does leave the small puck on the floor, but you dont have a trolling motor in your way either.

I purchased this so I can remove my trolling motor on long road trips. I have not used this, yet. Time will revile if this is a good product. Out of the box it does not look it's cost! It was installed with a new trolling motor. Sure hope it works great.

Paid the price for a "new” product. Took it out of the Revain packaging and could instantly tell this was a used and returned item. Unit is all scratched up, which isn’t a huge deal since it’ll be under a trolling motor. However it seems like half the hardware is missing and in a ziplock sandwich bag. Ordered this for the next fishing tournament. It is advertised as being aluminum but I received a plastic mount. This won't hold up to any rough water. I'm going to have to use it because I don't have time to get another one in. I would give this a zero rating if the site allowed.

I am trying to under stand the rationale behind MotorGuide refusing to sell just the base of the quick release bracket to those that have already purchased the fiull system. What need have you of the rest of it, if you would just like to swith between boats, which is, OR SHOULD BE, the single biggest benefit of this feature.
