Be careful - this is NOT the size as shown in the photo

Quickie mops come in a variety of sizes and replacement heads come in a variety of sizes. What is shown in the photo is NOT what you will get. This shows that it is a wider and thicker bandage, which is not the case. While it fits, it's 2 inches shorter overall. Make sure you research carefully. It might be better to buy this in store to make sure you get the right size.

  • Heavy Duty

  • Very Expensive

“M” type mop head is good for accessories

Mop is ok - the business part is the same as my old one. But I deducted a star for incomplete information. The type is not mentioned anywhere in the description. I got the Type M which turned out to be what I wanted. Wing nuts changed (see photo - new blue ones). My old ones didn't work with the new mop head. Luckily the wing nuts were included.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Be sure to get the right type and size. Type M=9 " and Type P=12 ".

I ordered this based on the WRONG size which is listed in 12" length. This is Type M and is 9" long with adjustment nuts spaced 6.5". This fits 058MB and 0588MB as well as 055CRMB as they all have holes 6.5 inches apart. Type P is 12 inches long and also has nuts spaced 6.5 inches apart. See attached photos.

Great replacement for a Rollar Mop

I ordered these to replace an old steel mop pad that was held in place with two screws through the mop head. They come with two plastic screws that thread from the sponge mount itself (also plastic) and two nuts, which make great replacements. The plastic screws seem strong enough and the metal doesn't rust or corrode so it's a nice improvement over the old bar. Good price and delivered quickly.

  • Hands Free

  • Expensive Insurance

I just want to mop the floor! :(

I just want to mop the floor! :( This review refers to the replacement sponge Quickie Roller Mop size M: look at the pictures I uploaded. 16 inches is too small plastic is too stiff to bend so I can't even put it on my quickie mop How is it possible that the size M quickie refill doesn't even fit on a size M quickie mop!

Pros
  • Everything as before
Cons
  • Everything is fine

This head is probably too small overall!

This reel is designed for a much smaller mop than is normally sold as standard. As a result, the mop holder protrudes beyond the sponge head and thus prevents contact with the wall or wiping edge. Maybe the sponge was cut specifically for the mop and the price of the product is much cheaper because sometimes it's easier to buy a new mop than to replace the head, but overall it's unacceptable as an acceptable replacement, but it sounded all good the review too. sooo

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Long lead time

Wrong size: Type M, not Type P

This sponge does not fit my mop. It is type M and should have been type P. It's actually my fault for not fully checking the product description. I didn't know there were (at least) 2 different sizes. The description says type M, but the size is not specified. This is a 9 inch head compared to the P which has a 12 inch head. It screws onto my mop so I guess I'll leave it on until I need another. It would be nice if there were more refill options in addition to the rather expensive screws on the

It goes perfectly with the cleaning tools

I certainly didn't want to buy another mop just to have a new sponge end. I had no idea what replacement would fit, but after reading some of the comments I figured out how to remove the existing sponge (twist those colored wedges, they look like screws or locks) and remove the end of the sponge. Then look at the mop's handle, where it was covered in sponge when it was in place, and ta-da, there's an interchangeable type of sponge! Thanks to those who shared this information here. It fits…

Pros
  • for mopping floors
Cons
  • for wrinkled mops

GARBAGE. Absolute rubbish.

I bought a replacement pad for my mop, but the plastic used to make this product is of such poor quality that the cheap, soft plastic screws and mounting bolts broke during installation. Pure garbage. The mop head can only be used by wringing it by hand as pulling on the wringing mechanism only pulls the sponge off the mop handle. still fits, gets pretty hard, but the workmanship is so horrendously bad that I didn't use quickie mops, for example. In a word, they stink. The Rubbermaid product is
