quality issue

My son has worn it to the beach 3 times and I've washed it and hung it to dry but the logo on the chest and back has almost completely peeled off. The threads at the neckline and bottom of the shirt began to unravel. I expected it to last at least a summer. We buy Quicksilver rashguards every summer and have never had this problem.

Pros
  • My grandson is 12 and it fits him perfectly! He used it on the beach shortly after receiving it.
Cons
  • After two swims, the logo began to peel off. The shirt works well in the sun but looks bad when it peels off

Fake, poor quality in my review

I've been a lifelong Quiksilver customer and I can tell you these rash guards are fake. After the second wash, the symbols and letters fell off. This has never happened with the real ones. Go directly to the Quiksilver website, don't buy it.

Pros
  • Offers a comfortable fit, allowing your child to move freely during water sports.
Cons
  • The Quiksilver On Tour Long Sleeve Rashguard for boys only comes in one size, making it difficult for parents to find the perfect fit for their child.

Peeling after two swims

The logo and lettering started breaking after a day of swimming. Hand washed as label recommends. After the second day of sailing, the logo and inscriptions began to peel off. The quality of the last Quiksilver rashguards has deteriorated. I bought a pair of Quiksilver rash guards a few years ago and the logo and writing still look great. See photos next to the new and old rashguard.

Pros
  • Easy to care for and maintain with simple washing and drying instructions
Cons
  • Due to its design and intended use, this rash guard may not be suitable for all water sports. This may limit usefulness for some customers.

Worst quality.: my rating

Used once, already falling apart, looks like it's out of the box. Wash gently once and hang to dry, wear maybe an hour. In addition, it is extremely small. Got my 6 year old a size 12, normally he's a size 10 but when bathing I go bigger and he was about 2 sizes smaller. waste of money.

Pros
  • Perfect for kids who love surfing, swimming or other water activities, giving them a durable and stylish rash guard to wear on all their outdoor adventures.
Cons
  • The Quiksilver Boy On Tour Long Sleeve Rashguard only comes in one color - Danger Red. This may not appeal to all kids or parents looking for more variety in their beachwear.

Inferior quality! the best in my rating

Nice design but very poor quality! I don't even know if it's original because it's been used 3 times in a small pool and looks very damaged.

Pros
  • Made from high quality materials that guarantee the rashguard will last a long time.
Cons
  • Terrible! Falling apart after wearing it once!

came with a small tear at the collar

My son loved this shirt so much he put it on as soon as we opened it. Definitely small for the stated size. Very tight, but he wanted to keep it. For such a high price I want it to be true to size and not tear. Disappointed. But I can say that the militancy and quality are great!

Pros
  • Reliably protects your child's skin from the sun during outdoor activities.
Cons
  • The logo peels off horribly after a single wash.

Cheaply made and fake.

This is not a genuine mercury item. The shirt is made in Egypt. The letter on the front fell off after the first entry into the pool. Seams unraveled. Cheap fake. Very disappointed with this purchase. I do not recommend buying it.

Pros
  • Stylish design that your child will love
Cons
  • The material used for the rashguard may not be as durable as other materials on the market. It may not last very long and needs to be replaced frequently.

I doubt the quality

My son has worn it to the beach 3 times and I've washed it and hung it to dry but the logo on the chest and back has almost completely peeled off. The threads at the neckline and bottom of the shirt began to unravel. I expected it to last at least a summer. We buy Quicksilver rashguards every summer and have never had this problem.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No weapon

Letters peeling off

Rashi looked really cool and seemed like a great sunscreen. On the second use the Quicksilver letters started peeling which was annoying as there were scraps of letters everywhere. I ended up intentionally subtracting the remaining parts of the letters. You can also see the "shadow" from the remaining letters, which I think looks better. Peeling off the letters was very inconvenient and tedious - a major drawback of the product

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
