The perfect accessory to get the most out of your M1 mini.

I connected it to a 5V USB-A adapter with a Samsung 850 Evo SATA and a Samsung 970 Evo NVME SSD. No issues with external devices and I have a working SD card reader. Very happy.

Power Hard Drive Enclosure

This product recommends connecting to a power source when docking both an SSD and a SATA drive. The hub has a specially designed USB-C connector. I installed a 1TB WD Blue SSD and my MINI didn't recognize it. Tried many things without help. All to try, so I plugged it into my phone charger and MINI registered the ride straight away. I strongly recommend that customers with internal drives installed connect to a power source (USG-C to USB-A cable included). I think the manufacturer information…

Doesn't work with NVMe drive with M1 Mac Mini

It can be a cool hub if it works. I couldn't get the Samsung 980 NVMe to work with the 2020 M1 Maci Mini. Doesn't recognize at all. It recognizes a 2.5 inch SATA drive. Returned.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • High price

Very decent product

Works well, easy to install, good number of ports, takes both m2 SSD and 2.5 SD. Perhaps this is one of the best in its class. However, I would have wished for a better chip. Max speed just surpassed 500MB when using m2 ssd, although the SSD itself has a max speed of over 2000MB. Build quality can be improved (next to Apple!). But I haven't found anything better and the price is very attractive.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Crumpled

Very slow SSD access

I bought this as a case and hub but after checking the speed on the drive I returned it because it was very slow. USB A and USB C were equally slow. It was about half as fast when connected directly to the MacMini.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • boring packaging

User-friendly port expansion drive enclosure for Mac mini (Intel Core)

mini recognizes the drive immediately. So far my new WD 500GB (7200rpm) drive has been working fine. In addition, this product includes three adhesive-backed soft rubber pads of different widths attached to the inside of the case to prevent discs of different sizes from hanging around inside the case. Not my color but the size is perfect.

Pros
  • There's something special about it
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great gadget as an accessory for my Mac mini (2020, M1)

Firstly it complements my Mac mini by adding extra USB ports and internal space for a hard drive and an SSD. It's pretty easy to install. Body color could be a bit paler but nothing noticeable. I love how the Mac mini fits on it. Also, it's great that two additional self-adhesive sponges are included, which are very helpful for getting a perfect fit when installing an HDD or SSD. So far it works with both my 1TB Seagate HDD and my 250GB Kingston M.2 SSD. The USB hub is also compatible with my…

First impressions

I will have an update in a few weeks/months. FIRST MAKE SURE YOUR M.2 KEY FITS BEFORE YOU BUY! Not all SSDs are the same. M, B, M&B. 4 pins, 5 pins. Know them, measure them, don't dwell on them, enjoy them. First impressions: the silver color is close enough to still look good on a Mac mini. I put mine on top because it looks smoother (with less gaps) but looks mean nothing if it doesn't work. At first it works. I think the three m.2 cases and another m.2 dock I had to return were just unlucky.

  • Good stuff
