🍷 Black Rabbit Wine Chilling Carafe Review

Bought this as a Secret Santa gift for a friend who loves wine. I received mine in very soft packaging and have not had any tearing issues. If you follow the instructions, e.g. B. Turn the rubber piece down to allow the inside to slide right in should there be no problem. Everything went as expected and she is looking forward to chilling her white wine in it! Also the turquoise color is exactly the same as the picture and goes well with her white and turquoise beach decor at home.

I have had previous versions of this product. The carafe kept the wine cool but I had trouble with it. The older model had a screw-on ice chamber that was very difficult to install correctly, so the carafe often leaked when pouring. In addition, the glass jar appears to have been thinner and more easily broken. Both of these issues have been addressed in this redesign in addition to the new phase-out design. I'm sure there will be no leakage problems. And I'll be careful with the glass jug.

Overall pretty good but could use improvement. At first it seems that you need to completely fill the tank with ice. I usually add some salt as well, just to be sure. Second, the more you pour, the less liquid comes in contact with the chilled surface, making it less effective. Third, the silicone coating retains water, so you really need to make sure everything has dried well before reassembling after washing.
