Race Tech Ultra Slick Grease Review

Race Tech make high quality suspension components. Their lube is probably not that different from other lubes, but the price was better than similar products. Worked great for fork maintenance.

Glad I used this to rebuild my forks. I agree that it is better to use ordinary lubricant for these purposes. If you are the slightest afraid that you will damage the gaskets during installation, use this material. A bit of reason as I felt more comfortable and safer wearing the sigils.

I would argue that this product is not essential. If you are rebuilding a suspension you can simply use fork/shock oil to lubricate everything during installation. It's less messy and safer to use in my opinion. I love the extra thought I get knowing there aren't any dry spots on the seals and wipers to ruin a simple repair.

I have used this lube to seal a fork when servicing the suspension in my shop for many years. Really helps reduce sticking. I also applied it to the fork slider rim and outside around the fork seal. This greatly simplifies removal for the next fork service. I also placed this on the inside of the dusting brush. Definitely recommended.
