Run a bit big good for protective gear

My hands are the size for almost every glove I've ever had so I ordered RaceQuip large gloves. I put them on and they are big, big and leave about half an inch behind my fingertips. I'll send them back and order the medium.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Some flaws

A bit thick and needs breaking in

General car racing use seems a bit over the top, the material is very thick and all the stitching inside feels uncomfortable for people with thicker hands. They feel better after longer use, but they are great for karting to absorb vibration, thinner ones are better for car racing.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Durability

Very good quality racing gloves at a very good price

I had to swap out my gloves for 2 ply SFI 3.3 gloves and they are great. They're a bit stiff at first, but after a few days of racing they soften up and feel really good in the hand. The thickness prevents touch displays (like phones) from being used while you're wearing them, but I've found that you can buy conductive thread to sew into your fingers to get around this problem.

Pros
  • Confident

Good racing gloves at a good price.

I read the previous reviews so I had to give my review. These gloves fit me perfectly. I wear men's large work gloves, winter gloves and now these. I have had no issues with fit or seams causing problems. They're warm for summer racing, but I don't notice it when I'm on the track. I race autocross and time trials so having a firm grip on the wheel and shifter is the most important aspect for me. I will be grateful if I ever need fire protection.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Fits perfectly. - Motorcycling & Powersports

First of all I am NOT a racer but I am an enthusiast. I bought a 2014 Focus ST and ROUSH Racing prepared it. They did an amazing job and I love the thrill of driving my car, even though I'm 70 years old I can still enjoy driving my 6 speed turbo speedster. Yes, I think that qualifies for a second childhood. All I can say is "torpedoes are burning, full steam ahead." I bought these gloves to give myself a little more of that feeling, I couldn't be happier. They feel great and fit even better…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Safety

maybe that fits better.

I'm talking about how these gloves fit my hands, you may find that they fit better. They sewed right from the base of the thumb to the tip of the thumb, the inseam of this stitch is awful and actually hurts, especially when gripping the handlebars tightly like during a race. After wearing them for 10 minutes, I had to take them off and walk the rest of the distance with my bare hands. Ironically, as soon as I took it off, I realized that I could hold the steering wheel better without it…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Great glove at a reasonable price

Got these for my first HPDE and they were great. My hands sweat while driving so they don't slip on my leather steering wheel. The "suede" is soft enough and grips the leather steering wheel well, definitely not as much as leather gloves, but too much grip isn't good either. I rode them for a couple of hours total and they still look like new. Comes in a decent plastic bag (after airing it out after use, of course). For the price, I'm glad I bought these instead of going barefoot like people…

Pros
  • This is amazing
