So after putting it in I realized I had to buy tape for the top and tape it just so it wasn't visible and there was about an inch or two of open space as if it doesn't quite do its job, please don't buy it, spend extra money on something good.

The other day I took an old odd shaped 1.5 din radio tape recorder from a van for an upgrade. After searching the internet and realizing that 1.5 din radios are hard to come by, we were ready to dig a big hole for a double din radio. A quick search led us to this product and saved us a lot of time, money and headaches...

Did exactly what I needed. Came with very precise helpful instructions, good photos and a replacement tool kit to remove my old Magnadyne 1.5 din radio. Some find it overpriced, I think it's worth it, just because of the good installation instructions for the Magnadyne 1 din radio.

Good adapter plate. One side attaches to the panel with a single DIN socket that came with the radio. There is no anchoring method for 1/2din top filler. I had to drill a bit and add screws to hold it in place. Gave three stars because I expected at least some instructions/suggestions on how to solve this problem.

I give it 5 stars although a bit pricey for a flat piece of plastic and 14 wire connectors. Honestly I did not find any other adapter from 1.5 to 1.0 din there. So the price is debatable. Strong, flexible yet durable plastic. It doesn't look like the guy is too affected by UV. Provides a nice clean upgrade for the original 1.5" AM/FM/CD player. Recommend this product.

This is an absolute must for replacing a 1.5 din stereo with a single din stereo and a great option. I have devised several ways to fill the space that is almost impossible to find an odd 1.5din size, choice and availability is almost non-existent! It arrived on time and in good condition, the packaging was adequate. The product is well represented by its description on Revain. One of the few 1.5 DIN to 1 DIN adapters I've seen. Our RV had an odd 1.5DIN head unit that needed replacing. We have selected a fold out DIN touch screen to match this device. The plastic is a little flimsy, the clips are unusable, but it works and meets occasional needs, which is why I give it 4 stars.
