Using this spare tire carrier in our automotive project, our team found that the installation process was unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming. Although the product initially seems sturdy, we quickly noticed it wobbling on bumpy roads. The only positive feature we can point out is the fact that it accommodated our camera equipment, but it's not worth the high price tag and frustrating installation process.

This should work just fine. I will most likely replace the cutting line that tightens it with a piece of 550 line, but only at my discretion - what came with it will work. The fit is good. I cut out a small "T" notch for the rear camera to go through to slide over my plate. So it works great for JK with moving plate. If the neoprene breaks and fails I simply cut out the center section to reveal the entire wheel. It should serve its purpose - to protect the spare tire from heating up in the sun.
