Unsafe Load Binder for Heavy Loads

This load binder has a low break strength and is not suitable for industrial and scientific applications that require heavy loads. The binder is made of low-quality materials that don't survive harsh environments. .

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • Low break strength, poor quality.

Heavy Duty Good Quality

I needed to replace some heavy duty 1/2 inch ratchet ties so I bought this red tie and yellow flip handle tie for comparison. I like this binding a lot more although it doesn't have any fancy features, it's built for heavy use, spins freely and looks like it will last for years. I will be buying more of these to replace worn out bindings.

Pros
  • Load Tie
Cons
  • Expensive
