The quality is worse than I have ever seen, a complete disappointment

A few words about my personal use of the product Razer Kraken Ultimate USBHeadset Renewed. I was shocked by such a problem in headphones for 11k. I had a bunch of different headphones, but none of them had such a problem. Got them back under warranty the same day. P.S. It's bad that in all the reviews of this graniture this jamb is not mentioned. And I strongly doubt that I got some kind of defective copy.

Cons
  • This headset has a serious problem that nullifies all the advantages. The wire of this headset is very hard and rough (in a fabric braid) and when the headphones are put on, it starts rubbing against clothes and a distinct friction noise is heard in the earpiece to which it fits. It is clear that sitting in them and not moving or somehow arranging the wire so that it does not rub against clothes is almost impossible. I bought this headset to replace a broken Plantronics GameCom 788. It has a flexible wire and silicone insulation. Even if you specifically rub this wire on clothes, the noise from this is very, very weak (on the verge of audibility). You can check your current headphones, I think yours should be about the same, but with the Razer Kraken Ultimate, this friction noise will be very audible due to the fact that the wire is hard and rough. Moreover, it is clearly audible even if something is reproduced in our headphones.

Some kind of defective product, I definitely wont buy it anymore.

I took these headphones to replace the old ones in the 4frag store. I will briefly share my impressions: they are really not small, they sit quite comfortably, the build quality and materials are quite good, the sound is decent, the microphone is good. BUT! Everything is spoiled by their software, and specifically the THX service, without which Synapse 3 does not work normally, and at the same time it is this service that turns the sound into a 'chewed record'. At first I thought it was just aโ€ฆ

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

- Before that, there were the very first Kraken Pro, which were already morally obsolete and shabby, I moved from them like from a Zhiguli to a Mercedes . -If you wear headphones with a headband on your forehead, then you wonโ€™t be able to wear these because of the large ear cushions that will not stay on your ears. - I suggest you try your equalizer settings in Synapse ( 3 2 1 2 0 2 0 3 5 7) - When setting up the microphone, I use only noise reduction, the rest spoils the voice and qualityโ€ฆ

  • - Reliable, metal arc smoothly passes into the bowl mounts. - Excellent positioning in games - Good microphone with noise reduction and on / off button right on the microphone - Working 7.1 and THX Spatial Audio - They fit well on the head, but not perfect. At the ear pads, the part adjacent to the head is fabric, because of this, when the head is tilted forward, the headphones can slip.
Cons
  • - As already mentioned, there is a microphone effect from the fabric braid of the wire, if you donโ€™t listen to anything and just turn your head, you will hear rustling in the left bowl or you can rub your finger over the braid. But when playing or listening to music, the effect is not felt - The THX button on the headphones did not work from the beginning, after reinstalling Synapse it worked - Wire may be short for some - if you put the switched on microphone all the way into the bowl and turn on listening in Synapse, you can go deaf from the squeak and ringing . xs why this happens

I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

In principle, good headphones, with acceptable sound, high-quality microphone. Discord certification is declared, but there is no normal compatibility, even noise reduction conflicts, so itโ€™s better to turn off the noise reduction in the headphones right away, by the way, certified hypers donโ€™t have such a problem. Applications understand that the microphone is turned off mechanically with a button, but the same certified discord only writes to me, and in the voice chat does not make a noteโ€ฆ

  • Loud enough, partly we can attribute the quality of materials and assembly. The sound is average, for this price there are better ones, so definitely not dignity. Good microphone.
Cons
  • Saved on the rim, a thin layer after a couple of hours causes discomfort, as it puts pressure on the head. The sound quality is average, not bad, but nothing outstanding either. The driver, as many write, has its own problems and features, but not very critical. Open type. the sound is blaring throughout the apartment.
