There are pluses and minuses, think before you buy.

I think these headphones are great for the price. Convenience, as well as the sound quality of the speakers and microphone, are decent and, in my opinion, have no shortcomings. However, the constant noise in the left ear and the complete unreliability of the design do not give me the opportunity to recommend these headphones: as a last resort, I recommend treating them as carefully as possible. Then they will probably last longer. I plan to immediately take the Razer Kraken 2022, because, if I…

Pros
  • They sit well and tightly on the head, the quality of the ear pads is good. The sound quality for the average PC user is excellent, no problems with it. The microphone is loud and the sound quality is also good.
Cons
  • As already mentioned, noises and squeaks are constantly heard at the left ear, it terribly infuriates and possibly harms the ear, but after a week of use you get used to it and you no longer hear this unpleasant sound. I noticed too late that the bow is made of extremely thin and unreliable plastic, which is why a crack appeared already in the third month of everyday use. From the final breakdown, unfortunately, the winding with tape / electrical tape did not save. I do not deny that the fault still lies with the consumer (and such breakdowns are not a warranty case), but I never dropped them and carefully removed them from my head. In the end, they just fell apart.

The quality is terrible and the product is not what it says it is.

I will never buy Razer products again. Mouse for 2.5k - after a couple of weeks, it began to "bounce" up when scrolling the wheel down. A couple of weeks later, double clicks began. My office mouse from Logitech for 300 lived for 3 years without double clicks. I bought a Razer Deathadder, gave the Logitech mouse to the children, they threw it against the wall, she was their dog and kitten, dragged around the house. Picked it up, plugged it back in and it works. The wheel is spinning, there are…

Pros
  • The sound quality is normal for playing and chatting.
Cons
  • A month later, the bow broke. I just put the headphones on the table, with the microphone down, walked away for a couple of minutes, put it on my head, and I feel that my left ear does not fit. Examined - the bow burst. For headphones at this price, this is some kind of mockery.

Amazing spatial awareness in Warzone

Installing Razer's 7.1 Surround Sound Kraken driver gives you amazing sound and directionality in first-person shooters, my only experience was Warzone and my skill , steps tracking is incredibly accurate. When following someone in a large building, it's very easy to approach or avoid them as needed. Vertical audio is pretty good, but even if you're on a high roof, ground-level recordings are very loud and don't scale well compared to sounds coming from more horizontal sources, but you can…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I don't remember

Extremely low quality. Breaks in 5 months. Funny customer service

I bought a Razen Kraken USB headset in July 2018 for about $45. It had pretty good sound quality (including a good mic) and was quite comfortable. It broke after two years and I assumed it was because it suffered from the layout of my old rig. So I bought a new Razen Kraken X USB in July 2020. Differences between new and old: The new one is about 33% more expensive, its quality is a bit poor compared to the old one and the build quality. well it only took 5 months for the frame to start…

Pros
  • Nice packaging

Avoid - BAD ELECTRONICS

A cheap Logitech H390 headset I bought in 2013 stopped working (microphone problems seem to plague Logitech devices) so I decided to take a chance and buy something new. Returned promptly same day and ordered another Logitech H390. They may not be the best, but they work VERY well and have decent durability for $20! Observations (positive): 1. Good materials and good external workmanship. Will they continue? I do not know. 2. GREAT sound4. Very nice style without being obnoxious5. Very…

Pros
  • Cool

  • Almost OK

An honest review of the Razer Kraken X, one of the best for its price!

(Don't worry if this review seems too long, I've added TLTR (Too Long to Read) below to summarize it all without further ado). I'm writing this review 3 months after owning this headset with the hope that everyone who reads this will find it useful. I ordered this when my previous headset broke (which I later found out was planned and guaranteed by the company that made this model). This headset surprised me more than anything when I first opened it. Let's start with a massive amount of bass…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
