Doesn't work with TLC TV, Yamaha stereo or Samsung DVD player. Not sure if the codes are wrong or if they just don't work, but don't buy TLC TVs anyway.

It took a bit of effort to connect to the TV but after getting the right code I'm happy. I have an RCA TV with a DVD player. I was able to find the code that was used to do all the settings on my TV. happy with the purchase, it was affordable and it worked

My paralyzed brother has a Naxa NT-2409 TV. He relies on the remote control. His nursing home regularly manages to lose the remote control. The "real" Naxa remotes didn't work, but this RCA remote works. The code search process is a bit cumbersome, but it took less than 10 minutes. All main remote control functions now work - channel change, channel buttons, volume and menu. It certainly does its job at a reasonable price.

Worked fine for about 4 months but suddenly stopped working. It still glows red in the corner when the button is pressed, but for now I'm not going to connect anything to the TV. I've tried pressing the "TV" button to reconnect but it won't connect, new batteries. No nothing. Edit: We had to reprogram it. Now it's working again, I don't know why it was disabled but I'm glad it was an easy fix. We just googled the remote and programming codes and it's working again.

This remote does it all including interacting with DVD players, cable boxes and of course TVs. Once you figure out how to program it (takes 5 minutes?) you become an expert and can upload anything in your room to this remote control. The remote control doesn't control the input device selection and I tried calling and they don't support it over the phone and only through the website and they don't cover the problem on the support page for this remote and other emails just say it's bad. Just check the support page. A branded RCA remote purchased for an RCA TV will not work and will allow you to select the device's input. The input menu appears, but none of the buttons work, so you can switch devices. So it's just rubbish…

Some of the button mappings on this remote that were chosen for our Sony VCR don't make sense. Specifically, the left-right and up-down arrow keys on the original remote do not correspond to the arrow keys on the new VCR.
